About Us

Hi! We’re Sue and Ant — long-time friends, business partners, and the proud founders of Hunter HR.

Carlisle-born Sue and Bolton native Ant first crossed paths back in 2019, when Sue recruited Ant in a previous role — little did they know they’d one day be building a business together.

After a long and varied career in HR across multiple sectors, Sue founded Hunter HR in 2023. The business has grown steadily ever since, becoming Hunter HR Ltd in 2025.

Both with a love of the outdoors and recognising the benefits of being out in nature, in 2023 they established “Fellbeing Walks” – a voluntary walking group aimed at getting people together out on the fells to improve their overall wellbeing and to act as a support network for like-minded people. Ant is the brains behind the logo and marketing and the group has seen people from all over the UK attend. Check out our LinkedIn and Facebook pages for the latest walks.
